Leaf Lamp
Simplicity tends to go hand in hand with modern design, and the Leaf Lamp designed by Yves Béhar is just that, simple. Although the characteristics of a leaf is hard to see, the lining in the back and the slight twist near the top gives it just enough of a resemblance to a leaf to justify its name. Now I feel rather stupid trying to convert this to USD from Euros, and I’m a bit perplexed as to what the comma represents in Euros, the Leaf Lamp is listed at 512,93 Euros which if I understand correctly translates to approximately $756 USD. I’m not quite sure what justifies the cost, maybe it’s, “The attractive tactile controls will allow you to control the light intensity and it’s colour, a warmer or colder light. It’s sure to meet your every need.” Meet my every need? Than at the price it’s a bargain.
