Cast Paper Collage: Haunting

I personally like paintings/art pieces that evoke feeling, this particular piece by Elis Cooke titled Haunting I brings forth a feeling tied with memories that have since passed. I look at this piece and it reminds me of the struggles and hurdles that I had to surmount to get to where I am today.
Although the artist’s explanation of this piece is a bit different than what I picture it to be, I can still relate to it, I guess this is what they mean by art is a universal language? At the very least this can make one scary ass piece during the night with the proper lighting… I can think of a few people I would like to pull this scenario on.
